Bathroom Wars Turning Ugly

Legal battles are taking place in multiple states as to whether “transgender” students can use bathrooms of the opposite sex. In southern California, there are even schools where this is happening. Think about school as a place where any male student claiming to be transgender can have unfettered access to girls’ restrooms and locker rooms. Most people would think this sounds silly and would never expect it to happen. That is until the Obama administration became involved in a particular case at a school district in Illinois.

The Federal Government slammed the district’s decision for its fight to protect the privacy of the innocent girls according to the Washington Post. Now they have a choice to comply or lose millions of grant money and face prosecution. Even more outrageous, the Education Department gave its support and stated that transgender students must be given full access to locker rooms and bathrooms. Can you imagine the multitude of problems that will happen in these places?

So it appears that the feds want to turn public school bathrooms into peep shows. These are usually the areas where there is no adult supervision. Sexual harassment, abuse, and other violations of the discipline code will be much more difficult to prove. Shouldn’t our Education Department and government be trying to protect our students rather than expose them to such risks? Way to look out for our children and their privacy. These people are unfit to lead our country and our schools. Maybe this is why our nation is in an education crisis and our students cannot compete with those of other countries. Our Federal Department of Education has put politics before our kids and failed our schools for years.

It is time that people unite and take a stand against this shameful atrocity. No matter what political affiliation you have or what Church denomination you belong to, we all have something in common. That is we want to see our kids safe and become successful.

It is vital that Churches come together to address the evil that is gaining ground in our country. It is more important now than ever before, that we pray for our nation and schools. The youth need our prayers and they need leadership that will look out for them. For this reason, every sane person ought to register to vote now and get ready to elect leaders with common sense.
