The Revival taking place in Southern WV is not being called a moment, but rather a movement. It has been taking place now for several weeks and shows no signs of slowing down. Due to the growing number of participants it has been moved to the Williamson Field House at least until May. Crowds at the field house have reached close to 2,000 people a night and hundreds in the community have prayed to receive Jesus. The movement has captured the attention of local news stations and people from many other states in the nation. God’s visitation has left our community in awe and astonishment.

Unusual occurrences are taking place as a result of the Revival. Numerous schools in Southern WV and Eastern KY have had large gatherings in prayer clubs and hundreds of students saved. Many young people are hungry for more of God and attending services every night. Different denominations and races are coming together and lifting hands in the air to worship the Lord. People struggling with atheism, drug addiction, depression, and many other conditions have come to the altar and reported deliverance from Jesus. Others have said that they have received physical healings from various sicknesses. Conversations have filled the streets about the wonderful things of God.

The spiritual climate of our region has sparked a raging wildfire. Maybe this is what the scripture means in Matthew 5:6: “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Folks are tired of the drugs that have caused so much destruction. Many are sick of corrupt politics that have costs so many jobs. People have tried so many things to fill a deep void and nothing works. They realize that only Jesus can put lives back together and meet all needs. This is why Facebook is being flooded with testimonies and the popular hashtag #JesusIsBetter. It is time that you put your hunger in the right person so that you will be filled.
