General Surgeon joins Williamson Memorial staff

WILLIAMSON – General surgeon Luisangel Rondon, M.D., has joined the medical staffs of Williamson Memorial Hospital and Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Dr. Rondon received his medical degree from Central University in Venezuela. He completed a residencies and internship in general surgery at Medical University of Graz in Graz, Austria, Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Rondon was completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

“The addition of Dr. Rondon to the medical staff enhances our ability to provide the community access to services it is using most,” said Cindy Segar-Miller, Interim CEO for Williamson Memorial Hospital. “We’re delighted to welcome him to our medical staff and look forward to working with him.”

Dr. Rondon is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the American College of Surgeons and the Tug Valley Road Runners Club . He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children.
