Staff changes at LMAMH

LOGAN, W.Va. – A number of promotions was announced on Mon., Apr. 25th at Logan Mingo Area Mental Health (LMAMH). Donne Cooke, CEO of LMAMH, announced that she is especially pleased to pronounce that several significant staff changes have been made, effective immediately.

Michele Evans has accepted the position of Chief Compliance Officer for LMAMH. Michele will be responsible for compliance with all clinical documentation and employee credentialing requirements for WV Medicaid, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to every aspect of the agency including grant funding, managed care organizations, facilities, vehicles, and licensure.

Durand Warren has accepted the position of Clinical Director for LMAMH. Durand is a Licensed Professional Counselor and he will work closely with all Program Managers to ensure that programs are evidenced based, outcome driven, and staffed accordingly. Durand will oversee all services offered by the agency and will assist the PM’s with various aspects of daily clinical operations.

Ms. Cooke stated that both Michele and Durand will work across the agency in all programs. They will work individually and as a team to identify gaps in services, and coordinate and conduct staff trainings to fit the demand of the agency.

Brad Davis has accepted the position of Program Manager, Intensive Services, on the Logan campus. Brad most recently served as the Community Engagement Specialist in the Boundless Program, which is funded by a grant through the West Virginia Division of Corrections. LMAMH has partnered with the Recovery Group of Southern West Virginia and Brad will be the primary liaison between the two programs.

Also, Ms. Angela Robertson recently joined the team at LMAMH as an assistant in the Human Resources Department.
