4th of July celebration to be held in Delbarton

Children enjoyed last years Fourth of July event in Delbarton with water guns and bubbles.

DELBARTON — The town of Delbarton will be hosting an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The festivities will begin with a cookout at 6:00 p.m. where free hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, chicken and all the fixings will be free to all of those who attend. Then, beginning at 7:00 p.m., free music performances will be held in the Opry House. “No Class Bluegrass” will open the show with several other groups to follow.

The swearing in of the newly voted in council members and recorder will be sworn in at 8:00 p.m. After the swearing in there will be cake and watermelon served, which is also free.

There will also be a fireworks display that will begin at 10:00 p.m.

Several games and activities, such as corn-hole, baseball and children’s bubbles will be available to entertain kids for this family friendly event.
