ACA students get treated

GOODY, Ky. – Several young students from Ambassador Christian Academy (ACA) enjoyed a fun afternoon at the South Side Mall, compliments of Jimmy Webb of Chattaroy.

Webb, who attends the Regional Church of God at Delbarton, has started a ministry in honor of his late wife Carol. It was dubbed “Carol Webb Memorial Childrens Fund.”

Webb is a supporter of the Christian school and does many things for the youth.

He has taken the kids to movies and other events.

On Wednesday afternoon he treated the K-3 and K-4 students from ACA to ice cream, lunch and rides on the Zoffari Cruz animals, a new attraction at the local mall.

“Carol’s Memorial Fund sponsors 13 kids at the school,” Webb said.

Several mothers attended the outing on Wednesday. The children were happy to get the chance to ride the motorized animals and of course get ice cream.

Webb thanks Diann Hannah of the South Side Mall, and also his church.

Webb said he wants to continue the ministry in his wife’s memory.
