Jane Layne, 62, of Baisden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her many loved ones waiting for her in Heaven, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from her residence.

Born August 12, 1949, in Buchanan County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Grant and Lula Virginia Justice Little.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Quincy Layne; five brothers, Wendell, Jessie, Junior, Elmer and Harlen Little; and two sisters, Naomi Lester and Ermia S. Justice.

Jane was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and a born again Christian of the Church of God faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Jane and to mourn her passing include her four sisters, Armedia Morgan of Oceana, Florence H. Matney and Bertha (Bill) Justus, both of Hurley Va., and Bonnie (Jimmy) Vance of Justice; her brother, Delbert (Delores) Little of Virginia; a special nephew, Grant Vance of Hurley; a special great-nephew, Kevin Dale Vance of Hampden; her sisters-in-law, Pauline, Geneva, Lorraine and Lucille Little; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Friends may gather with the family at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden on Sunday, June 3, from 6 p.m. until10 p.m. with a special service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 4, at the Full Gospel Church of God with the Revs. Denny May and Jonas Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Layne Cemetery at Baisden. Jane will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
