Charles E. “Chuck” Roberts, 81, of Williamson, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Trinity Healthcare of Logan.

Born May 4, 1931 at Nolan, he was the son of the late Richard and Maxine Harrison Roberts.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wives, Naomi Roberts and Jean Roberts; one son Kevin Roberts; and two sisters Loletta Thompson and Alma J. Smith.

He was a former construction worker, of the Protestant faith, and aveteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include one brother Richard Roberts of Chattaroy; three sisters Kay Preece of Logan, Geneva Walters and Edith Stepp both of Chicago, Il.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 30, at 1 p.m. from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky., with his nephew Richard Roberts III officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher. Visitation will be from 11 a.m until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
