Novellia Mosley, 84, of McCarr, Ky., passed away Wednesday morning, May 16, 2012, in the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pikeville, Ky.

She was born February 3, 1928, at McVeigh, the daughter of the late Wayne and Lena Mullins Sturgill.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Mosley; daughters, Billie Jo Mosley and Helen Ford; grandchild, Naomi Browning; and a sister, Zellia Mae Ellis.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Sharondale Church of Christ.

Survivors include five daughters, Pricey Dotson of McCarr, Dorothy Bowman of West Liberty, Ky., Zellia Mae Blackburn of Jumping Branch, Rachel Mosley of McCarr, and Madonna McCoy of Tennessee; son, Larry Browning of Florida City, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-grea-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at the Sharondale Church of Christ with Bob Werntz officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky., with Tony Reed, William Varney, Sammy Dotson and other family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held after 6 p.m.Thursday, May 17, in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel and after 10 a.m. Friday at the Church.

R.I.P. Mawmaw wish we would have known soonier no one told us till the last moment, I wish I could have said good bye. But, I know your with the Angels now singing in heaven, and watching over me, I know you know how much we love you, I miss you mawmaw.. Love Always Amanda and family.
