Gary David Varney 53, of

Canada, Ky., passed away

Friday July 23, 2010 at his

residence.

Hewas born July 7, 1957 in

Pike County, Ky., to Bogar

Varney of

Grayson, Ky.,

and the late

M a d e l a i n

Varney. He is

also preceded

in death by

two brothers;

Edgar and

Danny Varney. He was a disabled

coal miner and of the

Baptist Faith.

Besides his father he is survived

by his wife; Donna

King Varney, one son; Gary

Bo Varney of Williamson;

three daughters; Crystal

Varney of the home, Brandie

Baisden of Williamson, and

Alicia Varney ofWilliamson;

two brothers; Rick Varney of

Pikeville, Ky., and Ralph

Varney of Somerset, Ky., four

sisters; Madonna Scaggs of

Grayson, Ky., Tina Varney of

Grayson,, Lynette Varney of

California and CarrieMurphy

ofMorehead, Ky. Five grandchildren;

Hayley Milan,

Kaydance Baisden, Dakotta

Varney, Aleczander Clark,

Louie Gauze and soon to be

grandson; Gary Keith Patrick

Baisden and a host of nieces

and nephews.

Funeral services will be

conducted at 2 p.m. Monday

July 26, at R. E. Rogers

Funeral Home with Emery

Varney officiating.

Visitation will be after 6

P.M. Sunday night at R. E.

Rogers Funeral Home with

special services at 7 p.m.

Per his request he will be

cremated.
