Malcolm Mack Robinette, 82 of Williamson, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Huntington.

He was born Jan. 14, 1928 in Williamson, the son of the late James Wesley and Delphia Young Robinette. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Herman, Thurman, Hassell, Cletis and Lonnie Robinette, one sister, Ethel Robinette (Bailey) Ball and a son-in-law, Floyd June Smith.

Mack was retired from maintenance at the Appalachian Regional Hospital and a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea.  He loved to listen to gospel music and to attend church. He was a faithful member of the Toler Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Janice L. Ball Robinette of Williamson; daughters, Sharon Robinette Smith of Chattaroy, and Donna (Wally) Floyd of Williamson; sons, Tim (Evelyn) Robinette of South Williamson, Ky. and David (Pam) Robinette of Hardy, Ky.; brother, Ernest (Gay) Robinette of Speedwell, Tenn.; sister, Vivian Sue (Charlie Bob) Preece of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Toler Freewill Baptist Church with Donnie Williamson and Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, Ky. with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Belfry Chapter #141 DAV will conduct Military Graveside Services. 

Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010 at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with special services at 7 p.m.
