John Michael Hurley, 27 of Pikeville, Ky. died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1982 in Pikeville, Ky. the son of Melvin (Debra) Hurley of Hatfield, Ky. and Carolyn Mayo Hurley of Pikeville, Ky.

He was a disabled coal miner.

Other survivors include his wife, Samantha Mattie Robinette Hurley of Pikeville, Ky.; children, Shyla Nicole Robinette, Kyla Brooke Robinette and John Landon Hurley all of the Home and his grandmother, JoAnn Mayo of Warfield, Ky. and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 28 at the Mary Elizabeth Church, Hatfield, Ky. with Old Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurley Cemetery, Widow's Branch, Phelps, Ky.  Visitation will be held after 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Church with special services Saturday at 7 p.m.
