Mildred Ethel Jones Horn, 58, of Williamson, WV passed away Friday; January 22, 2010 at her residence.  Born December 19, 1951 at Lindsey, WV; she was the daughter of the late Howard and Della Carter Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband and loving partner:  Edwin Jones, whom she adored and was the love of her life; 2 brothers: Isom “Bouncer” Blankenship and Donnie Mounts; 1 nephew:  Dallas Ray “Brutt” Blankenship; & 1 niece:  Millie Ann Hammond.

Mildred was a retired nurse and a licensed x-ray technician.  She worked for Dr. A.H. Henderson as an LPN for many years, and she was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Williamson, WV.

Survivors include her husband: Charlie Horn of Williamson, WV; 7 sisters:  Glendine Jablensky of Newtown, WV, Jean Betler of Bremen, OH, Helen Blankenship of Gilbert, WV, Shirley Hurley of Matewan, WV, Linda Smith of Toler, KY, Betty Sansom of Majestic, KY, & Linda Carol Hammond of Newtown, WV; 1 brother:  Earl Blankenship of Turkey Creek, KY; special nieces: Alexis Hammond, Aileen Perry, Ashley Jablensky, Raeanna, & Christian Page Hurley; special nephews:  Sidney & Billy Hurley, Eric Michael & Steven Hammond; her caregivers:  Sandra Coleman and Harry Sherrill; and her special sister & brother-in-law: Linda and Doug Smith of Toler, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday; January 25, 2010 at 12 p.m., from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with Ralph Perry, Greg Blair, & Bobby Stiltner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens at Maher, WV.  Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home with special services at 7 p.m.
