CHARLESTON (AP) — Two adults are in jail after being charged with duct-taping a 2-year-old boy they were supposed to be baby-sitting.

James Usher and Della Jackson both face charges of felony child abuse. Both were arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court on Monday.

They’re being held at South Central Regional Jail on $100,000 cash bonds. It could not be immediately determined if either has a lawyer.

Police say they duct-taped the arms, ankle, torso and mouth of a boy they were watching at his mother’s Charleston home and took pictures of him.

His mother, Jessica McClure, was not home at the time. She was subsequently charged with felony child neglect. McClure is being held at South Central Regional Jail.

What can I do to adopt the abused 2 year old? I cannot imagine treating a poor baby in this manner. I have raised wonderful children and I know I have more love and energy to give to another. Who do I contact?
