James Russell Cook, 45, of Williamson passed away unexpectedly

Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at his home.

He was born in Williamson, Aug. 6, 1964, to the late Emogene “Jean” Cook.

He was preceded in death by one half-brother, Tommy Stanley.

He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, trading,

collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia, and spending time with

his family and friends that he loved.

He is survived by three daghters, Jeanie (Ruben) Fouch of Williamson and Jennifer (David) Hairston, both of Williamson, and Jamie Cook (Daniel Muncy) of Turkey Creek, Ky.; one son, James “Jay” Cook of Turkey Creek; three brothers, Glen (Chloe) Cook and Johnny Cook, both of Williamson, and Elige (Nancy) Cook of Columbus, Ohio; five sisters, Fay Cook, Denise Runyon and Tennessee Bralley, all of Williamson, Dolly (Arvil) Martin of Dan’s Branch and Nancy (Brian) Robinette of Turkey Creek; grandchildren, Autumn, Jessica, Baby Ruben (PW), Brendon, Cecil (Littleman), Alyssa, Daniel Lee, Jasmine, Jonah, Dakota (Bob), and Diamond Alexis; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, loved ones, and many friends including his ex-wife and special friend, Ethel Chafins (Belbow), and his beloved dog, Sassy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Hatfield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens. Maher. Pallbearers will be Ruben Fouch, Rodney Cline, Ben Cook, Darrell Bralley, Daniel Muncy, Tony Runyon, Adam Stanley and Arlin Reed.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
