Sammy G. Bishop, age 61 died at his home in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was born in Phyllis, Ky to the late Roland J. and Thelma Slone Bishop.
Funeral services will held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Thacker Funeral Home in Pikeville, Ky with Jim Abshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetary in Chloe, Ky.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thacker Funeral Home of Pikeville, Ky.
