He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Louisa Chaney.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, with open visitation Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at the funeral home, with nightly services at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Thacker Funeral Home, Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thacker Funeral Home of Pikeville.
