Veolia Water in Matewan has issued a boil water advisory for Sulphur Creek residents. The advisory was issued when water line maintenance caused loss of pressure in the system’s pipeline.

Officials expect the problem to be corrected in four to five days. During this period, Veolia said, residents should boil water for at least one minute before it is used for any type of consumption including drinking, cooking, washing dishes, making ice, bathing or brushing teeth.
