Timothy “Timmy” Ray Casey, 40, of Hurley, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2009, having fought a long courageous battle with his illness.

He was born July 12, 1968 at Grundy, Va., to Shirley Smith Casey and the late Avery “Butch” Casey.

Timothy is survived by brothers Danny Casey of Steele, Ky., and Michael Casey of Hurley, Va.; and sisters Leanna Casey of Hurley, Va., Susie Sullivan of Steele, Ky., Diana Casey of Hurley, Va., and Ashley Casey of Hurley, Va.

Services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 1 p.m., at the Jesus Tabernacle at Steele, Ky., with the Rev. Hobert McCoy officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sullivan Cemetery at Motley Fork of Feds Creek, Ky., with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin on Monday, June 29, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the Church with a service at 7 p.m..

Arrangements are under the direction of Phelps Funeral Services of Phelps, Ky.
