Dale was a retired coal miner.
He was also preceded in death by his wife; Dolly Adkins Gibson. Survivors include two brothers, Low-ell Gibson of Texas and Terry Gibson of Georgia; four sisters, Patricia Estepp and Shirley Hatfield, both of Ohio, Wanda Raymond of Texas, and Gerri Nichols of N.C..
There will be no services.
Collins Funeral Home at Switzer is in charge of arrangements.
