A three-vehicle accident held traffic up on U.S. 119 Sunday afternoon. Oden Blackman of Mississippi was heading toward Williamson in his silver truck when he said he hydroplaned and went into the other lane. Blackman’s truck crashed into two trucks (one silver, one red), which were traveling toward Pikeville. The man in the other silver truck was taken to Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson. Responding Belfry Volunteer Fire Department Chief Nee Jackson said the crew used the Jaws Of Life to cut the man from the wreckage.
