Shirley Ann Cope, 59 of Williamson, passed away Monday morning, June 10, 2013 at her home.


She was born August 24, 1953 in Williamson, the daughter of the late Walter and Ida Pearl Trout Cope.


Shirley was a retired employee of the South Williamson Appalachian Regonal Hospital and a member of the Williamson Wesleyan Church.


Survivors include one brother, Raymond Cope, two sisters, Rose Cope and Sylvia McCoy, uncle Earl E. Cope, aunt Virginia Buchanan, two nieces, Angel Cope and Tabitha Collins, nephew William J. McCoy, great niece Lisa Cope and great nephew James Collins.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher with family and friends serving as pallbearers.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.;. at the Funeral Home with special services at 7 p.m.
