Hettie Marie Jude Bostic, 81 of Pikeville, Ky., formerly of Williamson, passed away Tuesday April 9, 2013 at Signature Healthcare in Pikeville.
She was born March 5, 1931 at Williamson to the late Clarence D. and Emily Brunty Parsley.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, James Ireland Jude, who died June 26, 1999, a brother, William Parsley and one sister, Emma Louise Lawrence.
Hettie was a former office manager for the Credit Bureau and a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Philip Bostic of Pikeville, Ky., one son, James Donald Jude of Williamson, one daughter, Emily Jeanette Jude Coffee of Athens, Ga., step daughters, Wanda Kay Jones of Michigan and Vonda Chapman of Lily, Ky., one sister, Evelyn Benton of Hot Springs, Arkansas one grandchild, Michael Phillip Coffee of Savannah, Ga., and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday April 12, 2013 at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Bob Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher with friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is in charge of arrangements.
