The Cardinal Conference, an athletic conference of AA High Schools in West Virginia, has named its All-Conference boys basketball team for the 2012-2013 season.

The first team consisted of Mackenzie Martin of Chapmanville, Austin Banks of Mingo Central, Cody Morris of Herbert Hoover, Cam Cottrill and Noah Frampton of Poca, Matt Dolan of Scott, Zach Null of Sissonville and Morgan Stacy of Tolsia.

All of these players led their respective schools to winning seasons. Dolan and Stacy saw their teams make it to the state tournament last week.

The second team includes Ken Plumley of Chapmanville, Joey Forbes of Herbert Hoover, Marqus Cunningham of Mingo Central, Matt Chandler of Poca, Trent Stowers of Sissonville, Brandon Clark and Terry Davis of Tolsia and James Egnor of Wayne.

Those who made the honorable mention list include Aaron Burdette of Herbert Hoover, Alex Lee of Mingo Central High School, Cam Morrison of Poca, Cody Brown of Scott, Austin Brewer of Tolsia and Brett Justice of Wayne.

Member schools of the Class AA Cardinal Conference are Chapmanville, Herbert Hoover, Mingo Central, Scott, Sissonville, Poca, Tolsia and Wayne High Schools.
