WILLIAMSON — Yard sale season is just around the corner and the members of the GFWC-WV Williamson Woman’s Club plan to kick it off right with their annual yard sale this Saturday.

This is the fifth year for the event, which raises money for the club’s numerous community projects.

“We always look forward to our yard sale because the money we raise through our members’ donations of various items help us support so many worthwhile causes throughout the Tug Valley area,” said Club President Leigh Ann Ray. “This money has helped flood victims, students, domestic violence victims, and so many others.”

This year’s event is being organized by the club’s first vice president, Judy Hamrick.

The yard sale will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Cinderella Theater, located on Third Avenue in Williamson.
