Dallas Gene Bowling, Sr., 69, of Glendale, Ariz., passes away Dec. 21 of a heart attack.

Dallas was originally from Williamson, a 1962 graduate of Williamson High School.

Born March 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Alvin and Truly Maynard Bowling.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a former employee of the Williamson Daily News.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Chloe Bowling and Maggie Frazier and a grandson, Marcus Black.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Betty Moody, and their children, Brenda Black, Sandy Bowling, Michelle Bowling, Dallas (Julie) Bowling, Jr., and Richard Bowling, all of Arizona. He has 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

We were in school together what a guy its been yrs since we said hello but he is missed.
