Charles C. Marcum, 68, of Breeden, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at his residence.

Charles was born September 1, 1944, in Williamson, and worked as a coal miner.

His father, Chester Marcum preceded him in death; along with one brother, Ralph Marcum; and one nephew, Christopher Kevin Marcum.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie Lowe Marcum of Inez, Ky.; one sister, Kathy Marcum Gibson of Breeden; one brother, Eugene Marcum of Kermit; two nieces, Nadine Williams of Kermit, and Nikki Gibson of Barboursville; one nephew, Ralph Tony Marcum, also of Kermit; and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, at the Zion Church in Breeden. Burial will follow at the Marcum Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. at the church.

Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Marcum family.
