Charles Edward Browning of Powell, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2013.
Ed was born December 22, 1939 in Wharncliffe to parents Dewey and Tressie Morgan Browning.
He was a faithful Christian who attended Pentecostal churches throughout his life.
Survivors include his son Charles Edward Browning Jr., and daughter Belinda “Lenny” Thompson both of Columbus, grandchildren Jacob, Tameria, Amber, Johnny, Andy, Michael and great-grandchildren Brianna and Zachariah, sisters Virginia Mullen of Columbus Carol Varney of Delbarton, Teresa Garrett of Beckley, and brother James Browning of Hanover.
