A man in the Beech Creek area of Mingo County was shot three times in the chest this morning with a 9 mm gun, according to local law enforcement. The victim was subsequently flown to St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. His name and condition have not been released.
Police have apprehended a man believed to be the shooter, but his name has not yet been released.
