WILLIAMSON — Looking to spread holiday cheer and support the local farmers market at the same time? Why not do both?

You can do just that by taking advantage of a seasonal gift sale featuring fruitbaskets and other treats to support the farmers market through a Christmas fundraiser starting today.

Large and small fruit baskets will be available, overflowing with navel oranges, tangerines, golden and red apples, large holiday grapes and bananas. The fruit itself is also available in small or large arrangements, and can be purchased individually or in bulk.

But if you’ve a sweeth tooth, assorted candies (by the pound), orange slices, chocolate covered peanuts, bon-bons, chocolate cream puffs, peanut brittle, and a colorful Christmas hard candy mix will also be available

The Christmas gift sale will be held at Williamson City Hall Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information, call 304-235-1510.
