Man dies in 1-vehicle accident

MELVIN, Ky. — A Floyd County man was killed Sunday after a single-vehicle accident.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Clifford Hall, 50, of Melvin, was traveling West on Ky. 122 when the vehicle he was driving exited the roadway and overturned into a creek.

Hall was pronounced deceased at the scene by Floyd County Coroner Greg Nelson.

The accident remains under investigation by KSP Trooper John Dixon. Dixon was assisted on scene by KSP Sgt. Ira Napier, along with Left Beaver Fire and EMS.
