Lillian Marcum, 89, of Delbarton, went home to be with the Lord November 8, 2012, at the Williamson Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1922, at Belfry, Ky., the daughter of the late Wallace and Polly Mae Spaulding Parsley.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Glen Marcum; son Howard Glen Marcum; and two special grandsons, Gary Marcum and Michael Paul Marcum; brother, Howard Parsley.
Mrs. Marcum was a homemaker.
Her survivors include sons, Wallace Marcum of Inez, Ky., and Curtis Marcum of Delbarton, whom were her caretakers; daughters, Betty Kirk of Delbarton and Brenda Lynn Dotson of Williamson; and sisters, Betty Jo Maynard of Huntingdon, Tenn., and Ella Danco of Akron, Ohio. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home Monday November 12, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mitchell Bias officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery at Delbarton. Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
