David Blankenship, 62, of Turkey Creek, Ky., passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
Born April 29, 1950, at Argo, Ky., he was the son of Mary Chapman Blankenship of Morristown, Tenn., and the late Marvin Blankenship.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Hank and Larry Blankenship.
David was a retired coal miner and a gunsmith.
David is survived by his devoted and beloved wife, Linda Hamilton Blankenship; a brother, Pastor Terry (Brenda) Blankenship of Lenore; four sisters, Jean (Craig) Beattie of Chicago, Il., Sherry (James) Taylor of Lexington, Ky., Beverly (Cletus) Sartin of Kermit, and Jennifer (Dave) Snyder of Morristown. He is also survived by a very special nephew, Kevin Blankenship of Kermit, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
David will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
