PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police are investigating a robbery at Goody early Wednesday morning.

According the KSP spokesperson Shaun Little, Post 9 in Pikeville received at call at 12:41 a.m. from the Double Kwik convenience store, located near Belfry High School.

Employees told troopers a man had entered the store wearing an orange ski mask, yellow safety glasses and a black Nike jacket, and demanded money.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the store on foot, traveling south on US 119.

The KSP said Wednesday they had no suspects.

The Daily News spoke to Double Kwik Security Director, who declined to comment, saying he did not want to hamper the investigation.

The robbery remains under investigation by KSP Trooper Jason McClellan.
