Bobby Gene Curry 73, of Sidney, Ky., passed away Monday March 9, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1935 to the late Tolby and Minnie Goff Curry. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim and Carl Curry. He was a retired mechanic for the Pike County Board of Education, he was of the regular baptist faith and a U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Lizzie Gillman Curry, One Daughter: Sheria (Jerry) Charles of Raccoon, Ky., One Son: Gregory (Joyce) Curry of Sidney, Ky., Three Brothers: Fred (Glenna) Curry of Hatfield, Ky., Tolby (Carol) Curry Jr., of North Port, FL., and Joe (Millie) Curry of Emmit, Mi., Five Sisters: Gladys (J.K.) Young of Sidney, Ky., Nolice (Ken) Hackney of Frenchburg, Ky., Elenor Holmes of Michigan, Sharon Kay (Jr.) Justice of Canada, Ky., and Alice (Layton) Pinson of Sidney, Ky. and one grandchild: Mikah Daniel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Lacy Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery at Sidney, Ky.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Alvery Smith, Claude Smith, Dale Young, John L. Williamson, Ed Williamson, John William-son II, Joe Guglechuck and Paul Thomas Deskins. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, Ky., is serving the family. Online condolences at www.rerogersfuneralhome.com
