Emogene Webb, 83, of Williamson, passed away Thursday July 12, 2012, at the Skilled Nursing Facility, Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was born January 9, 1929, in Williamson, to the late William and Sarah Slone Webb.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, John Pem Webb; one daughter, Rita Jean Webb; grandson, Larry Bryan Webb; brothers, William Jr. Lowe, Arvil “Buster” Lowe and Jessie Lowe.

She was a member of the Williamson Church of Christ, a homemaker, a cook at Belfry Middle School and worked at R. H. Hobbs Department Store.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Veronica) Webb of Turkey Creek, Ky., Barbara (Clarence) Crigger of Williamson, Buddy Webb of Turkey Creek, and Gary (Roberta) Webb of Turkey Creek; sister, Josephine “Runyon” Sawyer of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister-in-laws, Ellen Lowe of Turkey Creek, Janice (Ellis) Layne of Turkey Creek, Dora (Fred) Muncy of Pikeville, Ky., and June Lowe of Turkey Creek, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday July 16, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Ron Sanger officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery at Turkey Creek, with John Webb, Gaige Johnson, Richard Nelson, Richard Chafin, Dusty Webb and Ed Hardesty serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home.
