Randall Newsome, 65, of Belo, passed away April 24, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

He was born June 27, 1946, at Logan, the son of the late Bill and Violet Samson Newsome.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Leann Alexander; and wife, Iris Newsome.

Randall was retired from the United Postal Service and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his daughters, Randi Michele Newsome and Melissa Ollam; brother, Bruce Newsome; sisters, Susie Rock and Carla King; grandchildren, Arissa Newsome, Nikko Newsome, Paul Ollam III, Miranda Ollam, John Ollam.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at the Little Dove United Baptist Church with Elder Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Cemetery at Belo. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Church.
