The Mingo Central tennis team coached by Julius “Boo” Hatcher has been doing very well. The team has several seniors including Miranda Collins, Brittany Evans, Sarah Fields, Jessica Hall, Jason May and Zak Roberts.

Caleb Crum is the lone junior, while the sophomores are Taylor Blevins, Julius Hatcher, Emily Hatfield and Kyle Surber.

The boy’s squad has won several matches in both singles and doubles, while the girls have struggled, but continue to improve, according to Coach Hatcher.

Here is the remaining schedule for the regular season. Tournament play begins in May.

Mingo Central has no home matches since they have no tennis courts at the school’s athletic complex. They are playing on the road or at Logan.

Apr. 16th - Westside @ Westside

Apr. 19th - Man @ Man

Apr. 23rd - Mt. View @ Mt. View

Apr. 25th - Tri-Match with Logan & Lincoln Co. @ Logan

Apr. 30th - Scott @ Scott
