Shelba “Luv” Cline, 75, of Baisden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her many loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on March 23, 1937, at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Nettie Christian Blankenship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Cline; one son, Tim Cline; one daughter, Rosetta Anderson; one granddaughter, Jacklyn Rose Cline; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Gary Blankenship.

Shelba, or “Luv” as she was known, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden. She loved serving the Lord and being with her church family. She enjoyed working in her flower garden but her greatest joy came from spending time with her wonderful family and friends. She had a heart of gold and welcomed everyone into her home and her heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Shelba and to mourn her passing include her four sons, Gary Carson (Tammy) Cline, Cody Cline, and Jimmy D. (Rebecca) Cline, all of Baisden, and Michael (Stephanie) Cline of Browning Fork; her four daughters, Theresa (Jesse) Harless and Debbie K. (James) Ferrell, both of Baisden, Sandra (Timmy) Cline of Cumberland Va., and Tammy (Anthony) Dotson of Wharncliffe; her 27 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; her four brothers, Clyde (Lana) Blankenship, Tommy Blankenship and Rebel (Shirley) Blankenship, all of Baisden and Clarence Blankenship of Man; her two sisters, Julie (Don) Lester of Baisden and Connie (Dave) LePard of Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Rev. Diamond Carter.

Friends may gather with the family at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden on Saturday, April 14 after 6 p.m., with a special service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, at the Full Gospel Church of God with the Revs. Jonas Trent and Diamond Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Roosevelt Cline Family Cemetery at Baisden.

Mounts Funeral Home of Gilbert is in charge of arrangements.
