Shirley J. Taylor, 66, of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Ransom, Ky., passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the Community Healthcare Center in Marion, Ohio.
Born September 22, 1945, in Pike County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Ervil and Grethel Hatfield Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two, brothers Tommy and Tilden Taylor; and one sister, June Dutton.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 4, at 1 p.m. from the Hatfield Funeral Chapel at Toler, Ky., with Elder Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Alley Cemetery at McCarr, Ky. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
