The Twin Rivers/Pepsi 13th Annual Basketball Classic will be held April 2 at the Larry Joe Harless Community Center in Gilbert.
The girls’ game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with the boys following at 8:15 p.m.
The teams have been separated into blue all-star teams and grey all-star teams. Coaching the girls’ blue squad are Melvin Cunningham from Burch High School and Bo Miller of Spring Valley High. Leading the grey team are Gehrig Justice and Doug Dameron from River View High School and Patrick Cline from Gilbert High School.
The blue boys’ team will be coached by Phillip Mitchell and Robert Huff of Matewan High School, Sam Cochenour from Wayne High School and Curt Fletcher of Williamson High School.
Coaching the grey team is Walt Cline of Gilbert High School and Harvey Arms from Man High School.
The roster for the boys’ all-star blue team include Jon Jon Salmons and Virgil Salmons of Tolsia; Jordan Caldwell from Wayne; Patrick Bailey of Spring Valley; Chad Clusky, John Baily and Thomas Simpkins from Matewan; Cody Williamson and Keith Hill from Burch; Zack Maynard, Brooks Cooper, Cliff Hall and Josh Easterling of Chapmanville; Chris Hatcher from Williamson; Paul Williamson, Deyonta Coleman and Gary Miller of Logan.
Included on the grey all-star roster for the boys’ team are Cody Blankenship and Cody Williamson from Lincoln County; Zack Helmandollar of West Side; Charles Stacy, Justin Kidwell, Ryan Garrett and Cody Jackson from River View; Kyle Smith, Joe Tilley, Jordan Abbott and Ryan Altizer from Gilbert; T.J. Hoosier, Adam Copley and Cody Fry from Man.
The girls’ blue all-star roster consist of Cortney Crum, Sylah Napier and Kala Benney of Tolsia; Cortney Jordan from Spring Valley; Aisline Dempsey of Williamson; Kala Cisco and Haley Church from Burch; and Rachel Clark of Matewan.
The grey all-star team includes Danielle McClanahan and Jessica Hare of River View; Kimmie Thomas from Pikeview; Mary Beth Miller and Edony Allison of Bluefield.
The rosters are subject to change.
