WILLIAMSON – Get ready to lace up your running shoes, the 3rd annual “Kicking Butt for Crohn’s” 5-K run is right around the corner.
On Friday, July 17 a 5-K run, and one mile walk, to help raise money for Crohn’s disease will take place at the Williamson Fieldhouse starting at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held in honor of Jean Stanley who passed away of Crohn’s disease.
Registration for the event will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. on July 17th. There will be a $20 dollar registration fee for the 5-K run and a $15 dollar registration fee for the one mile walk.
The route runs through West Williamson and includes a couple of steep hills. Several area runners are expected to participate in this annual event.
