PIKEVILLE, Ky. – The Lady Pirates of Belfry lost a 56-51 overtime heartbreaker in the first round of the 15th Region tournament to Betsy Layne on Tuesday night at the Expo Center in Pikeville.

Belfry’s Lena Hairston, a sophomore point guard, tied the game at 45-45 with a floater in the lane with just seconds to go in regulation.
