Tug Valley remains at No. 2 in poll

CHARLESTON – Despite a tough overtime loss to Class AAA George Washington this past weekend in the Hatfield-McCoy Shootout the Tug Valley Panthers (9-1) remained No. 2 in the Associated Press Class A poll this week.

The Panthers guided by first-year head coach Ed May, defeated No. 10 Man on Tuesday night.

Tug Valley only trails Wheeling Central Catholic (10-0) in the poll.

Poca remains as the top ranked team in Class AA, while Huntington is No. 1 in Class AAA.
