Kyle’s Korner ….

The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performances in the Mountaineers’ 31-26 win against Texas Tech on Saturday, Nov. 7.

The WVU Offensive Champion from the Texas Tech game was Wendell Smallwood, the Defensive Champion was K.J. Dillon and the Special Teams Champion was Sean Walters.

… The Big 12 Conference has announced that WVU’s Saturday, Nov. 14, football game against Texas at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia will be televised on ESPNU at 12 p.m., ET.

The matchup with the Longhorns will be the second “True Blue” presented by the West Virginia Lottery. All fans are encouraged to wear blue as the Longhorns will be making their second-ever trip to Morgantown.

… The Big 12 Conference has announced that WVU’s Saturday, Nov. 21, football game against Kansas at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas, will be televised on FSN at Noon, ET.

ROOT Sports Pittsburgh will broadcast the Kansas game throughout the state of West Virginia, as well as in the Pittsburgh market.

Additionally, the game on Saturday, Dec. 5, against Kansas State at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, will be televised on FS1 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

West Virginia will face Texas this Saturday, Nov. 14, at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia, at 12 noon, ET.

… Two WVU men’s basketball game times have been set for December home games against Kennesaw State and UL Monroe.

The game vs. Kennesaw State on Saturday, Dec. 5 will tip at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised by ROOT SPORTS. WVU’s game vs. UL Monroe on Sunday, Dec. 13 will tip at 5 p.m. and will be televised by West Virginia Media Holdings.

WVU opens regular season play on Friday, Nov. 13 against Northern Kentucky at 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 and $10 and can be purchased at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
