Husband indicted for wife’s murder

PIKEVILLE, Ky. - The husband of a woman whose remains were found in a shallow grave in Aflex has been indicted for her murder by the Pike County Grand Jury.

Bruce Dillon, 52, was indicted for capital offense murder in the death of his wife, Sherri Guaze Dillon.

Sherry Dillon’s family contacted Kentucky State Police July 16, and said she had not been seen since July 7, near her residence at Aflex. KSP issued a missing person alert Aug. 3.

Kentucky State Police Detectives Jimmy Anderson and Tony Tackett along with Grant County Sheriffs Office K-9 Search and Rescue conducted a search of the property of Bruce Dillon and found a shallow grave with the remains of Sherri Dillon on Dillon’s property.

The indictment accuses Bruce Dillon of killing his wife on or about July. 6. If found guilty, he could receive a death penalty.

This man took a mother from her young son. He deserves the death penalty. If he had problems with his wife all he had to do is pack his things and leave. Sherri's family mourns her loss. They spent weeks worrying about her. While he went on with his daily life. I pray for her family and friends to find comfort in her memory and each other. **Bruce- death seems like to easy of a punishment for you!!! Your son will never stop missing his mommy. My heart breaks for that little man.
