Timothy Ray Deskins, 33, of Fairmont, formerly of Williamson, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at Fairmont General Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born in South Williamson, Ky., Oct. 14, 1976, a son of Chester Deskins of Williamson and Brenda (Mike) Tignor of Virginia.

He was employed by Lockheed Martin nad was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served 11 years. He was a 1994 graduate of Williamson High School. He was of the Christian faith.

He was a very loving and dedicated husband, father, son and brother who loved to hunt. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Deskins; and his maternal grandparents, Jame and Lida Davis.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary Bailey Deskins; a son, Robert, and a daughther, Clara, both of the home; his paternal grandmother, Myrtle Deskins of Williamson; one sister Christine (James Craig) Venturino of Williamson; a niece, Alexandra Fields and two nephews, Timothy Aaron Venturino and James Christian Venturino, all of Williamson; three uncles, beloved John Davis of Varney, James Davis of Virginia and Ronnie Deskins of Williamson; two aunts, Faye Cordell of Ohio and Eva Preece of Williamson; and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service for his family and friends to celebrate his life will be conducted at noon, Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Sharon Heights Assembly, Sunshine Lane, Gilbert, with Arville Cline officiating. Military honors will be observed.
