Sheila Ann (Browning) White, 44, of Marrowbone Creek, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday, September 3, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, in Huntington.

She was born October 5, 1967 in Logan.

The youngest daughter of Wayne Browning of Laurel Creek, WV and the late Opal June Deskins Browning. The sister of Michael Browning of Dingess, WV, Gertie (Noah) White of Marrowbone Creek, Brenda (Richard) Lackey of Laurel Creek, Linda (Dennis) Dillow of Dingess, Della (Tracey) Lackey of Laurel Creek, and Candy (David) Henderson of Huron, Ohio and the late Drema White of Laurel Creek.

The daughter-in-law of Noah and Edith Faye White of Marrowbone Creek. The sister-in-law of William (Shirley) White, Betty (Donald) Chafin, Mary (Monty) Messer, the late Lula (Clinton) Sturgell, Janie (John) Canterbury and Theresa Dillon.

The special aunt and second mother of Kristy (Justin) Spradlin of Blaine, Ky., Michael (April) White of Marrowbone, Wesley (Jessica) White of Marrowbone Creek, Samantha (Matthew) Wilson of Dingess, Amanda (Johnny) Stepp of Ohio, Stacey (Donald) Smith of Chapmanville, Reanna (Travis) Muncy of Laurel Creek, Whitney (Bobby) Preece of Laurel Creek, Kayla Browning of Laurel Creek, Nathan (Brittany) May of Dingess, Tracey Lackey Jr of Laurel Creek, Tiffany Lackey of Below, Caleb Henderson of Ohio and Cody Henderson of Ohio.

The great aunt of Tyler and Bailey Spradlin, Camryn, Ethan and Lauryn White, Corey Wilson, Luke and Lilly Stepp, Keith Smith, Kaylee Preece, Lexie Lackey, Michael and James Bell.

Sheila was a devoted member of the Freedom United Baptist in Laurel Creek formerly of Breeden. She belonged to church for 21 years.

She loved to spend all the time she could with her grandbabies, they were her joy in life. She like to quilt and make crafts for family.

She left us way to soon and will be sadly missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 6, at 11 a.m. at the Freedom United Baptist Church at Laurel Creek, with ministers, Eddie Hatfield, Matthew Wilson and Alton Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at the Browning White Cemetery at Marrowbone Creek. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, at the church. Pallbearers will be Nathan May, Justin Spradlin, Israel Chafin, Ransom Chafin and other nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Michael White, Wesley White and Sammy White, Jr.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, is in charge of the arrangements.
