Mary Jane (Varney) Hall, 90 of Louisa, Ky., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009 following a long illness.
Mary was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Pike County, Ky., the daughter of the late Ben and Maudie Mullins Varney.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband James Hall and three sons: Charles L. Hall, Bennie Lee Hall and Robert L. Hall.
She was a homemaker, loving mother, and member of the Louisa Church of God.
She is survived by five daughters: Faye Preece of Louisa, Maudie Lucas of Ashland, Ky., Annette Frazier of Louisa, Rita Sibley of Louisa, Alma Hall of Georgia; a son: William Douglas Hall of Michigan; a sister: Madelene Sester of Louisa; two brothers: Rev. Lincoln Varney of Louisville, Ky., and Jonah Varney of Belfry, Ky., 22 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Louisa Church of God with Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Louisa.
