KSP asking for public’s help in armed robbery case

META, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police is requesting help from the public in capturing a man responsible for an armed robbery at a Double Qwik in Meta.

According to the KSP, an unidentified man entered the business on Friday, Nov. 23, at around 6:30 p.m. brandished a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. The man left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and jumped into the back of a dark colored pickup truck which traveled East on Kentucky Route 194.

The unidentified man was described as 6-feet-tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown eyes and wearing blue jeans, a brown jacket and a mask that covered his face.
